Bechamel Sauce
To make a traditional roux simply heat 2 fl oz/50ml vegetable oil then mix in 2 1/2 oz/70g fl our. Cook gently for 1 minute then take off the heat.
Gradually stir in 2 pints/1.15L soya milk. Bring back to the boil and cook gently for a few minutes, stirring occasionally. Season to taste then serve.
Contains gluten and wheat unless gluten- and wheat-free flour is used
