Local and International Contacts

Please get in touch with the Contacts Co-ordinator through the Vegan Society Office - phone 0845 458 8244 or email info [at] vegansociety [dot] com - if you are interested in learning more.

The Vegan Society has a network of active volunteers throughout the world. Volunteer Contacts are wide ranging in their activity and interests. Most give local information and support, and many are part of local or specialist groups. Some are marked up in the listings as being on for local media enquiries and interviews. (UK National media are encouraged to contact the Vegan Society directly). Contacts can also have specialist skills to share with one another, or with the Vegan Society itself.

Local Contacts

Local Contacts work across the British Isles. Most are happy to be contacted in a variety of ways. If you do write to a Local Contact by post, please enclose a stamped addressed envelope. All contacts and coordinators are volunteers, but they will always respond as quickly as they can.

Contact details of all Local Contacts can be found in The Vegan magazine. (available from the Vegan Society).

Getting active

There many ways to be an active vegan. Good starting points for encouragment and inspiration include:

Becoming a Contact

If you are a full member of the Vegan Society and would like to become a Contact, do get in touch with us. It would be particularly good to hear from you if you are thinking of setting up a group or already have one or have a skill to share.

International Contacts

The Vegan Society also has an International Coordinator, covering anywhere outside the UK, Ireland and the Channel Islands. Please contact us if you are interested in activites outside the British Isles.
