KNOW YOUR ONIONS!

We know vitamins and minerals are a bit dull, but it's important that you have a good diet so that you stay healthy - if only so you can thumb your nose at those people who say you need meat and milk to survive (and there will be plenty of them!)

A well balanced vegan diet is the healthiest diet there is, but white bread, chips and crisps can all be vegan and it's often tempting to fill up on these. Fruit and veg might not seem very interesting at first, but once you discover the variety of foods available you'll soon be telling all of your friends about the most deliciously healthy diet there is!

TOP TIP

Nutrition is a complex subject. Different nutrients interact with each other to keep you healthy. Eat lots of different food and follow some basic guidelines and you won't have any need to worry.
