Question: Should we support schemes like send a cow to Africa?

Answer: A typical UK diet needs at least three times more land and water than a typical UK vegan diet. Livestock are also in the top three causes of all major environmental problems. Most of the protein in animals feeds is used for the animal to live, not 'grow' to meat, eggs or milk. We can support schemes which help people to feed themselves, and make a livelihood, growing trees, vegetables and other crops.
