Mellissa is a vegan business owner and author, having founded the UK’s first vegan retail bakery ‘Ms. Cupcake’ in 2010. She has travelled the world teaching vegan baking and promoting the growth of small independent businesses.
Mellissa has been a teacher, school governor and has previously sat on the board of the Brixton Bid and various local traders’ associations. Her skills include small business development, HR, event planning and youth advocacy and education.
Mellissa became a vegan almost 15 years ago thanks to the help and support of The Vegan Society.
