Katherina is a Chilean Lecturer in Applied Linguistics at Newcastle University. She is a qualitative researcher applying conversation analysis to the study of social interaction (i.e. the way we as humans use language and our bodies to communicate with one another). She also has experience doing thematic and content analysis as well as public speaking training workshops. She is currently involved in education projects training teachers in Latin America and the UK. She is a committed vegan who is looking to use her skillset to support The Vegan Society and the wider vegan research space.
