Do you seek to live compassionately without the unnecessary exploitation of people, animals and the environment? Are you concerned about climate change and future generations? Are you interested in changing how we interact with other species, ecosystems and our human communities? Then this Introduction to Vegan Permaculture Course could be for you!

Applying permaculture design thinking to your cruelty free lifestyle, this weekend will focus on design skills – learning to see patterns in nature and in human and social contexts.  It will give you the tools and confidence to take responsibility for your lives and actions whilst ‘doing least harm’ to the Earth.

This course will aim to give participants;

  •   Ability to define the term ‘permaculture’ within a vegan context
  •   Ability to give a number of examples of non-animal based permaculture systems in action
  •   Ability to describe a number of examples of interconnections in human and natural systems
  •   Ability to state the ethics and principles of Veganic Permaculture
  •   Ability to develop observation and pattern recognition skills
  •   Ability to set personal permaculture-based design goals
  •   Experience in practicing permaculture design processes and methods

The course is open to all – no previous knowledge or experience necessary. This course will be of particular interest to those who would like to know more about permaculture design without the use or exploitation of animals and the environment. Vegans and vegetarians are especially welcome, although following a vegan lifestyle is not a prerequisite for attendance!
