In this session, Gastroenterologist Dr Alan Desmond describes the global burden of colorectal cancer, examines the characteristics of the Standard Western Diet that may influence the incidence of this common malignancy, and looks at the epidemiological evidence suggesting that plant-based eating may reduce the risk.
