Fill your charity collection tins

An easy way to raise money to support The Vegan Society is to have a charity collection tin on display at any event you hold. Whether it’s a fair, a street stall, pub quiz or a film screening, people often put money into tins and it makes for a great talking point for those who recognise the society's logo! They are a great way to engage with passers-by to collect money and show support for The Vegan Society. As a registered charity, any donations, no matter how big or small, makes an incredible difference and helps us to spread our vegan message as far and wide as possible.

What's cooking?

For something unusual and fun why not fundraise by having a ‘Go Vegan With Me’ charity dinner party? Place your charity collection tin at the front door and you'll raise some much needed cash and who knows...if you're a decent cook, you'll also have the opportunity to show your friends and family how exceptional a meal can be without animal products like cheese, butter, milk or eggs!

Are you a vegan-friendly business?

The society is always on the lookout for ways to collaborate with a great range of local businesses, especially those that align with our core mission and values. If you are a vegan-friendly business that would like to host one of our charity collection tins in your shop, cafe, or restaurant, please get in touch with our Fundraising Team who will be more than happy to help arrange an official charity collection tin for you (the label displays a lovely image alongside our logo, a handy QR code, plus our charity registration number). Not an owner of a vegan-friendly business, but know of one that would be happy to support collections for a vegan charity? Then let us know and we'd be thrilled to reach out to them!

What next?

Get in touch, let us know what you're up to and we'll send you one of our collection tins.

We'll provide you with the collection tin(s) and some paperwork to show that you are officially allowed to collect on behalf of The Vegan Society. Please don’t forget to fill in your returns sheet and send the tin back once you’ve finished with it, along with the money you raise.

Let us know well in advance if you'd like a tin though, as with the growing awareness around veganism we do get very busy and we have a limited amount of collection boxes and buckets to go around. If you are organising an event to raise funds for The Vegan Society then you can also request a leaflet pack to help promote a vegan lifestyle.
