» Our Ambassador Benjamin Zephaniah releases a music video to celebrate World Vegan Month

The renowned poet, musician and Vegan Society Ambassador Benjamin Zephaniah has released a music video for his brand new song that celebrates World Vegan Month.

The song - called Love the Life - was produced for us after we put a call out for video submissions and received content from enthusiastic vegans worldwide, even as far as China!

The music video showcases the diversity and growth of the vegan movement, as well as featuring a vegan dog and a vegan baby, proving that veganism is for everyone.

World Vegan Month marks the founding of The Vegan Society in 1944 by a group of ‘non-dairy-vegetarians’ and ultimately a worldwide movement which is now one of the fastest growing social justice movements.

The celebration was first created by Louise Wallis, the then President of The Vegan Society, to encourage people to eat vegan for the month and hopefully remain vegan.

You can see music video at www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8UfTJoFr9w. Please share widely so that the vegan message can reach many more people!

On World Vegan Month, we encourage everyone who is not yet vegan to give it a go by taking our 30 Day Vegan Pledge at www.vegansociety.com/pledge.
