Healthy vegan diets can avoid all the risks of eating 'meat'. That's the message which Vegan Society speakers have been sharing with journalists and audiences today.
Powered by plants
A delicious, nutritious vegan diet will support Elite vegan runner, Fiona Oakes [1], when she tackles the Marathon des Sables [2] - the most gruelling foot race on the planet - this April.
Vegan runner, Kevin White talked today to BBC Radio Hereford and Worcester about how his healthy vegan diet supports his charity half-marathon running [3]. During her BBC WM radio interview, Vegan Society Head of Communications, Roz Raha, encouraged listeners to explore plant-based versions of all their favourite world cuisines [4]. They were responding to widespread reports of strong new links between 'meat eating' and early death [5].
