As the COP26 global climate change conference closes, Global North leaders and animal farmers are still refusing to face up to ‘the cow in the room’. 

The West Yorkshire Vegan Festival 2022 is back at the Huddersfield Town Hall on 3rd July 2022.

All in aid of Farplace Animal Rescue.

We will be hosting all vegan stalls serving delicious world foods, drinks, selling quirky clothes, accessories, bags and cosmetics, as well as fantastic campaign stalls.

We will have special guest speakers to engage with you their work and views along with educational documentaries about how our food choices affect our environment, health and animal welfare.

The Scottish Vegan festival is back on the 8th May 2022.

Plate Up stand at COP26

A central theme of The Vegan Society’s work for the past decade, has been the benefits of transitioning to plant-based farming.  We don’t need to farm animals, and formerly farmed animals have much better lives in suitable sanctuaries.   

Farplace Animal Rescue is bringing a vegan market to Morpeth!

Taking place at Morpeth market place, we will be hosting 20/25 all vegan stalls serving delicious world foods, drinks and selling quirky clothes, accessories, cosmetics, Christmas and other gifts.

Come along to support local business, pick up some treats, have some mulled wine or just have a browse around.
