After receiving your feedback from the festival last year, we’ve been working hard in the background to make sure we’re looking after all your needs (and wants!). We are committed to making our events as accessible as possible and as a result on Saturday 17th November from 10am until 5pm the Dundee Vegan Festival will be held at the Abertay University’s Student Centre which is a fully accessible venue.

Our second phase of research for Grow Green was a commissioned report, written by the New Economics Foundation

Our first Grow Green report, published in 2015, was the result of desk-based research by our in-house team and outlined the ways that a transition away from animal farming and towards growing protein crops for human consumption, not only benefits the millions of farmed animals raised for slaughter each year, but also the health of the population and the health of our planet.

The Telegraph reported today that traces of meat had been found in Sainsbury’s own brand Meat Free Meatballs and Tesco’s Vegan Wicked Kitchen BBQ Butternut Mac ready meals. 

150 stalls: free food, vegan beer, cider and wine, and large bar and cafe seating area, as well as talks and films about veganism and fracking. Free vegan magazines, and free booklets about how to go vegan.
