twin calves at Hillside Animal Sanctuary

One of the 59 cows donated to a sanctuary by a vegetarian farmer who could no longer bear to send them to the slaughterhouse has given birth to beautiful twin calves yesterday.

Enjoy live music, outdoor entertainment and adult & children’s activities plus community stalls with refreshments, ethical products and energy-saving technologies and information at Nottingham Green Festival.

This year at Sheffield vegan festival there will be endless amounts of free samples, discounts, food tasting, vegan stalls including chocolate, cheese, cakes, takeaway food, animal sanctuaries, clothing and so much more. There will also be some fabulous talks and demos from some amazing people and businesses.

This festival will have tasty food, cooking demos, sweet treats, health and beauty products, guest speakers, a kids area, discussion groups, gifts, animal charities, ethical fashion and plenty of other information and inspiration.

There will also be early access for disabled visitors from 10am providing an opportunity to do some shopping before the crowds arrive.
