A vegan diet could prevent, treat and even reverse type 2 diabetes, say leading experts this Diabetes Week (12-18 June).

The 36th Vegan Camp this year will be delightfully situated in South West Scotland, with very attractive ocean and land views all round and lovely countryside. Vegan Camp is a friendly and enjoyable annual social gathering for singles, couples and families. 

You will find a friendly, helpful and fun atmosphere at these camps. There are often communal meals (sometimes with a talent show), sing songs, camp fires (if allowed) and just general lounge-abouts.

Sneinton Vegan Market is on the first Saturday of every month, and is now the established event to regularly celebrate and showcase great tasting vegan food and drink from Nottingham and across the Midlands. The event regularly features five or more fully vegan caterers plus over a dozen other vegan stalls, crafts, animal rescues & other products/services.

Swansea Vegan Festival 2016 will take place at The Brangwyn Hall this summer.  To be held on Saturday 16th July, this will be the third festival held by local organisation Swansea Vegfest. After the unprecedented success of last year’s festival, it is set to be their biggest and best event yet. Doors open at 11am with the festival running into the night. Entry is £1, with under 18s free.

Beer aficionados and plant-based foodies are set to enjoy a rollicking day out this summer as the 4th annual London Vegan Beer Fest returns with a mammoth expansion into a riverside location on Saturday July 16, 2016.

London Vegan Beer Fest founder and host Sean O’Callaghan, known to thousands of his readers as blogger Fat Gay Vegan, has coupled with legendary riverside pub The Old Ship W6 of Hammersmith to bring West London a unique event featuring dozens of cold beers, mouth-watering vegan food and unmatched views of the Thames.
