The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) publishes a new report which takes a comprehensive look at how land influences climate change, and vice versa.

Dr Jana Krizanova is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Gibraltar where she teaches across a range of business and management subjects, including Leadership and Managing Change, Entrepreneurship, Strategic Business Management, HR, and Organisational Behaviour.

Her research examines vegetarianism and veganism (veg*anism) as socially embedded catalysts for societal and economic transformation, with a particular focus on plant-based dietary leadership as a pathway to conscious consumption and human and planetary flourishing. Drawing on multidisciplinary perspectives, her work explores how meatless diets contribute to individual and collective well-being, including dimensions such as happiness, creativity, and more natural ways of life, while also engaging with broader themes of sustainable leadership, the circular economy, and purpose-driven business models that support common well-being.
