» The Vegan Society brings back Youth Membership offer

Interest, excitement and understanding of veganism is at an all-time high amongst young people.

That’s why The Vegan Society has relaunched its Youth Membership offer for a second year running. Aimed at those aged under 26, the Youth Membership costs just £5 for 12 months* and help us create a more compassionate and sustainable world.

It’s currently estimated that around 25% of all vegans in the UK are aged between 15-24. Meanwhile a new survey published by BBC Good Food last month found that 8% of children aged five to 16 are already following a vegan diet, while 15% said they would like to be vegan.

Stephen Sanders, Supporters Services Coordinator at The Vegan Society, said: “Whether it’s using TikTok to educate others on animal rights and welfare, peaceful school strikes to demonstrate the damage we’re causing the planet or just a general concern over health and wellbeing - there’s no denying that children are leading the charge when it comes to important social issues. That’s why we are so excited to relaunch our Youth Membership.”

“The Youth Membership is not only accessible financially but unlocks access to resources that will provide inspiration and guidance for young people on the vegan way of life. Fully vegan, almost-vegan or just vegan curious; wherever you are on your vegan journey, The Vegan Society is here to help.”

There are great benefits to joining too.
