Deborah has been a vegan for 35 years, and was previously a vegetarian child. They have raised a vegan family and bring experience from different fields: public sector, large (£bn) corporate teams, and micro-charities.
Deborah is a qualified accountant, with expertise across technical accounting, treasury, systems, counter-fraud, financial governance and internal/external audit. They’ve additionally managed several local charities – including branding, websites, campaigns, systems, and fundraising/volunteer teams. With an academic science background, they’ve also engaged young people from secondary to undergraduate level.
They are vegan with their whole heart, driven to defend animals and support fellow vegans.
