People planting flowers for Plant a Flower Day

This March, take a moment to appreciate this beautiful planet we call home, and add to it’s beauty by planting a flower!

The Missing Med School Lectures mission is to provide a forum to discuss the evidence of  health, social justice and environmental effects of animal use by intelligent, informed people who are keen to share their knowledge in the hope to build a better world. Topics will cover the moral imperative of veganism, whether humans are designed to eat meat, research on essential fatty acids, ethics of nutrition and kitchen health and healing. Attendees will receive a take home pack following the event and an invite to the FB group to ask our experts questions after the event.

ARRAN VEGFEST POSTPONED

It is with deep regret and sadness, in view of the fact that a number of participants in, and visitors to, Arran VegFest 2020 have had to withdraw, that the organisers have taken the very difficult decision to postpone the event.

FarGo’s Vegan Festival is back! Come down to Fargo Village on the Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th of April to celebrate and explore all things vegan!

We’ll be filling the village with loads of totally vegan stallholders across our two venues within FarGo. Whether you’re exploring veganism and want to learn more, you’re taking your tentative first steps, or you’re a long term vegan, this is the place to be!

At our monthly open days, you will have the opportunity to meet the animals, take a tour of our beautiful site, and get to know the team. There will be hot and cold drinks available throughout the day, plus delicious vegan cakes to tantalise your tastebuds.

Bring your friends, family, and all of your curiosity for the perfect day out with our delightful residents.

We will be open for visitors every first Saturday of the month, with our last open day of the year on Saturday 5th September.

Entry is free but we suggest a £5 donation per car.
