Marcelo is a criminal lawyer, criminology specialist, and vegan entrepreneur from São Paulo, Brazil. With a focus on animal rights and animal criminology, he is an expert in animal law protection and environmental law related to the Amazon rainforest. Marcelo was awarded a full scholarship for the LLM in Animal Law at the Center for Animal Law Studies at Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon, in which he will be studying the relationship between the conditions of the employees and the agricultural system and therefore combine human rights and animal rights.
