From toothpaste and soap to pillow mist and massage oil – 49 different products carrying The Vegan Society’s Vegan Trademark have been crowned winners at The Beauty Shortlist Mama & Baby Awards 2021.
The awards celebrate those brands working to create all-natural baby, pregnancy, beauty, self-care, wellness and eco home products.
In total 349 products were recognised as the top-scoring natural and organic stars of the last twelve months with this year also proving to be the highest-scoring since the awards were launched in 2014. All awards by The Beauty Shortlist are both independent and sponsor-free and judged by industry experts with panels in London, New York, LA, Sydney and Byron Bay.
Vegan Trademark holder Biologi’s BF Restore Face & Body Serum was chosen as Editor’s Choice in the Mother & Beauty Self-Care category alongside Ulive Organics’ Ultimate Serum. Meanwhile, two products by Truthpaste were recognised in the Best Kids’ Toothpaste category.
BlueIron’s Liquid Iron was recognised as Best Iron Supplement and Pregnancy Multinutrient by INESSA won Best Health & Wellbeing Supplement for Pregnancy/New Mum.
Both Organii Everyday Organics and Tisserand were the top-scoring Trademark holders of the night, taking home 7 awards each, including Best Baby Oil, Best Natural SPF and Best Shower Gel, Best Kids’ Toothpaste respectively.
While ASYVA took home an impressive 6 prizes, including Best Night Treatment for its Serum with AHIFLOWER, Natural Birthing Company received 5 indivudual awards as well as best overall Pregancy Brand. Four awards went to ZENZ Organic Products, including Best Natural Shampoo and Conditioner.
EarthZest also proved successful, winning 4 awards including Best Baby Balm for its Baby Soft Balm while The Konjac Sponge Company, which also recieved four prizes, was the only Vegan Trademark holder to win in the Best Eco Product category for its Korean Konjac Baby & Child Face Sponge and Korean Konjac Baby & Child Bath Sponge.
Lisa Franklin and Balmonds, two brands currently going through the trademark application process were also recognised at the awards.
