I am a Senior Research Fellow at the Unit of Academic Primary Care, University of Warwick. My background is in Health Promotion, and so my interests converge in the role of primary care and promotion of patient health. More recently, my area of interest has focussed specifically on the role of primary care in addressing the climate emergency and becoming a ‘Greener Practice’. One of the many areas within primary care which may help address our climate emergency is the adoption of plant-based foods and promotion of a plant-based diet, which is beneficial for both patient health, and individual action on climate change.
