In 2013, Farplace Animal Rescue organised the very first North East Vegan Festival (or NEVFEST for short) and it was a huge success. They followed it up in 2014 with the incredibly popular NEVFEST2 and they are back again this year with not one, but two festivals!

2015 sees NEVFEST return to the Stadium of Light and this time they are taking over all 3 floors! There will be a great line-up of speakers and demos, plus plenty of stalls to fill this amazing venue. The first festival will take place in May, to be followed by a second one in the autumn.

In June 2015, a team of incredible vegan athletes are going to come together to take on a new challenge...

Neil Robinson and Dean Howell - the very first vegan professional footballers on the planet- will be joined by vegan cyclist and rock climber Tris West

As well as being inspiring athletes, the team are all dedicated vegan advocates. They have joined forces to raise funds for charity and to raise awareness of the benefits of the vegan lifestyle - for animals, for people and for the planet.

People all over the UK have already experienced V-Delicious and now the show is heading to Berlin for 3 whole days of veggie and vegan fun!

With the very best retailers, restaurants, artisan producers and big brands, visitors will be able to discover new flavours, meet the makers of wonderful produce and indulge in delicious hand-made delicacies, ingredients and goodies.

The Vegan Society is offering a range of discounts on all webshop items throughout the festive period and, if you gain the rest of your online shopping through Give as you Live, we’ll receive a percentage of every purchase at no extra cost to you.

Turkeys celebrate Thanksgiving with a special pumpkin pie just for them

After a hugely popular event in Blackpool in 2014, The Northern Vegan Festival returns to Manchester for 2015, with not just 1, but 4 venues!

Sachas Hotel and the Methodist Church will both be hosting a huge range of stalls with a variety of vegan goodies available to try and buy. Sachas Hotel will also have a jam-packed schedule of talks and cookery demos, plus speed meeting, speed dating, vegan music and free vegan food!

The summer of 2014 saw the very first Newcastle Vegan Festival and it was such a fantastic success that they are back again this July.

There will be over a hundred stalls including local shops and food producers, ethical clothing and gifts, cosmetics,  information stalls, animal sanctuaries and campaigns, and lots of free samples. Plus talks and film screenings to help you find out more about vegan living.
