The NYC Vegetarian Food Festival is the place to go this March to find out more about living a healthy, sustainable lifestyle. Food companies, restaurants, and health and wellness vendors will congregate in New York City to celebrate the delight of vegan food and cruelty-free living.

This fully vegan festival will feature food sampling and meals from caterers and companies, lots of information plus live entertainment and activities throughout the weekend. 

This summer, our fantastic friends over at TeenVGN have privately hired Goblin Combe Lodge for a week of fun, at the UK's very first young vegetarian and vegan summer camp!

Goblin Combe Lodge is set in 130 acres of stunning countryside and easily accessible at just 11 miles from Bristol City Centre. It has sleeping quarters over two floors, a dining area, fully equipped kitchen, sitting room, individual toilet and shower units on each floor, communal areas plus much more.

On January 25th, Funky Gourmet are putting on a delicious, nutritious and indulgent raw vegan pop-up at Maida Hill Place.  

Fatih Guven is the head chef and founder of Funky Gourmet and as a raw vegan head chef, he’s worked in SAF at Zerwick in Munich, Shoreditch and Kensington.

Raw Happy and J’s Organic are hosting an amazing raw food workshop and dining experience at Maida Hill Place.

The evening will begin with a workshop looking at the health benefits gained through a high plant based diet and showing you how to prepare some of the dishes on offer later that evening.Then to round off the night there will be an incredible gourmet raw three course dinner and drink.

Maida Foodies is an events series which brings together people who are passionate about food to meet, eat and learn.

If you already have your own vegan food business or are looking for ways to get started with one, this workshop can help you achieve your goals. 

There is a great line up of speakers for the evening, including Jennifer Pardoe, Founder of Zest plant based food consultancy and Meriel Armitage, Founder of Club Mexicana, vegan street food and pop-up.

This February, Vegans & Violets are hosting a fabulous vegan dinner at Brookes Restaurant in Oxford. 

The evening includes four courses of sumptuous, seasonal vegan and raw food, plus a talk on the health and environmental benefits of the vegan diet from a passionate and knowledgable guest speaker. 

If you are vegan-curious, this is the perfect opportunity to find out more, and begin your very own vegan journey.

This May, Vegan Organic Network are hosting the fantastic Manchester Vegan Fair.

There is lots to do, with 70 different stalls and a huge range of entertainment throughout the day. There will be live music and poetry, films, circus and craft activites, talks, alternative therapies, vegan speed dating and speed meeting, plus fun activities for the kids.

Entry is just £2 and kids go free.

The Vegan Society greeted the news that the retail milk price is now lower than the cost price (and lower than some bottled water) with horror that animal suffering and life is of so little value; but not surprise.

The Birmingham Wildlife Festival is a one day event Sponsored by The Badger Trust and League Against Cruel Sports. A variety of organisations will join together to promote their causes and raise awareness, in aid of wildlife.  

The march against the badger cull will commence at 1.30pm, with lots going on before and after.
