The second Kent Vegan Festival will be held on Saturday May 7, in the Westgate Hall in the centre of Canterbury.
Our first Kent Vegan Festival in October 2015 attracted around 1,500 people. This year we have a bigger venue and are expecting even more visitors.
With around 50 stalls, a 60-seat café, children’s tent, music and other performers, talks, workshops and cookery demos – there is something for everyone! We have also teamed up with Curzon Cinema (who are next to the venue) to show a range of films about veganism throughout the day.
We are 1 minute off the High Street and only 10 minutes’ walk from both train stations and the bus station. The venue is adjacent to a public car park.
The aim of the Kent Vegan Festival is to raise awareness about veganism as a holistic, healthy and intrinsically non-violent way of life. The event will be inclusive and welcoming, with the aim of encouraging all people in their vegan journey.
