The session will enable both health professionals and individuals to have more confidence in the poorly understood area of food allergy and intolerance. Healthcare professionals and individuals who have allergies or intolerances will be provided with practical information on the differences between allergy and intolerance, the common food triggers, and managing these whilst being able to maintain good nutritional health on a plant based diet.

The class will include:

Dementia, including Alzheimer's disease, is now the leading cause of death in the UK. Participants will learn about the relationship between lifestyle, genes and Alzheimer’s disease. We will review the profound impact of a healthy plant-based lifestyle on maintaining healthy cognition and prevention of neurodegenerative diseases. We will also discuss the importance of a community-based approach to brain health and translation of the latest science of prevention in communities.
