Jack is a senior lecturer at the University of Manchester. His work has always championed diversity, equity, and inclusion, focusing on the effects of being excluded from markets in a consumption-centric society. While his early studies focused on human inequalities, he is now focused on the widespread, but widely overlooked, inequalities between humans and non-human animals. He hopes to be able to find ways to use marketing and consumer research to help animals, believing that this will also help humans to create more sustainable and enriching societies as well.
