What a year it has been. If you've been following our work for the past year you may have noticed we've been getting up to some pretty exciting stuff!

After reaching 10,000 signatures, the government has responded to our petition calling for a plant-based option on every public sector menu.

In the second of our new Expert Series, RAC member Dr Josh Milburn from the University of York reflects on whether in vitro meat is something to be welcomed or something to be rejected from the point of view of animals, animal advocates, and vegans.

The number of vegan options provided by UK train companies has increased thanks our Vegan on the Go campaign. 

Frome Vegan Fair has teamed up with the Cheese and Grain to launch Somerset’s first regular, “VEGAN MARKET!” The vegan market takes place at The Cheese and Grain on the first Saturday of the month, every other month (2 Feb, 6 April, 1st Jun, 3 Aug, 5 Oct, 7 Dec). From food and drink through to clothing, cosmetics, accessories and gifts. This will be a fantastic opportunity to stock up your cupboards, treat yourself or treat your loved ones to something special. Free entry!

Abergavenny Vegan Fair will be day long celebration of all things plant based including ethical clothing brands, cruelty free cosmetics and skincare, eco-friendly household products and of course an impressive line up of delicious vegan food for you to munch on throughout the day or take home to loved ones.

As well as a host of traders for you to browse and discover, there will also be a programme of talks, cookery demos and workshops taking place around the Market Hall for you to get involved with throughout the day.

With a date set for 26th January 2019, the Fair will be coinciding with the annual Veganuary celebrations, aiming to showcase a diverse range of plant based products for you to browse and enjoy throughout the day… save the date!
