Veganmania stands for summer, sun and street food. Once again this year, Vienna's MQ will be a paradise for vegan food lovers for three days. The largest street food festival in Austria takes place in Vienna's city centre and is popular with vegans, vegetarians and flexitarians - in short, anyone interested in a plant-based and therefore sustainable diet. In Vienna's 7th district, visitors flock to the spring weather to sample a wide variety of plant-based specialities, discover new products and marvel at arts and crafts.

The highly popular Summer Open Day will be returning this June at Goodheart Farm Animal Sanctuary, a beautiful 92-acre site in the rolling hills of Worcestershire.

They have got an incredible line-up of food vendors, educational talks, gift and craft stalls plus the opportunity to meet their friendly rescued animals!

The first London Vegan Fayre arrives for a seasonal show in the heart of London at the prestigious Kensington Town Halls in early December later in 2024 for a new vegan event that sees 110 exhibitors and up to 3,000 visitors over the weekend, including a Kids Area, the upstairs Stage for interviews, talks, comedy and entertainment, and some top street food vegan caterers taking care of business, and with the holidays season just around the corner, the focus is very much on food, shopping, eating , drinking and generally making merry – vegan style.

After Vegan Fairs successful run of 2023 events we are excited to call Cheltenham Vegan Market their new flagship event. They are delighted to be returning to the city in 2024 with three outdoor vegan markets for all to enjoy.

Taking place on The Promenade right in the shopping district, Cheltenham Vegan Market will showcase the best local vegan businesses and their incredible vegan products.

After the success of Vegan Fairs 2023 outdoor Market they are so excited to be returning not once but twice to Chepstow High Street!

Taking place on The High Street right in the town centre, Chepstow Vegan Market will showcase the best vegan products from both local and national independent vegan businesses.

You can expect incredible street food through to indulgent homemade bakes and cakes. They will also have a number of non-food items on offer such as ethical fashion brands, cruelty-free skincare, eco-friendly homeware items and much more.

We all know that starting the day off right can set us up for a happier and more productive day, but what should we actually be including in our morning routines to set ourselves up for success? 

Selina is a qualified Barrister-at-Law called to the Bar of Ireland. Selina also holds a B.A. International in Legal Science and French degree and a LL.B. Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Galway, Ireland; and a LL.M. Master of Laws degree and Graduate Diploma in European and Comparative Law from University of Limerick, Ireland. As a barrister in private practice, amongst other areas of law, Selina has been involved in advising and litigating in cases related to various aspects of legal protections pertaining to animal rights and welfare, and has represented clients in court cases concerning animal cruelty, wildlife protection, food/agricultural regulations, disputes over animal ownership or custody, and issues related to legislation regarding animals. Selina has also worked closely with some environmental and human and animal rights organisations and governmental and non-governmental bodies as a legal consultant.

Selina currently lives in the Netherlands and works as in-house international legal counsel with a global non-profit plant-based food awareness organisation, which intersects the animal advocacy movement. She also works as a research coordinator and lecturer at an international higher education institution. Selina is a member of a number of professional organisations in the field, including the Animal Lawyers’ Network of the UK Centre for Animal Law (A-Law); the Wild Animal Initiative Research Community; the Animals & Biodiversity thematic working group of the Global Research Network Think Tank. 

Selina is also an independent researcher and writer on animal law subjects, having contributed as a guest writer on various blogs relating to animal law worldwide. During her postgraduate studies, Selina focused her dissertation research on the legal, ethical and regulatory framework concerning animal culling in the context of international public health law and growing recognition of animal sentience. Selina aims to continue to explore potential research pathways and opportunities to undertake PhD research in these areas. Selina is open to connecting with scholars, academics, practitioners and researchers around the world who share the same research interests and to contributing to research projects in the field.
