VegMed is Europe's biggest scientific conference on plant-based nutrition. The conference has been previously held in Berlin and is to be held in the UK for the first time in 2019 at King’s College London.

We're excited to announce that fourth Stroud Vegan Fair happening this summer on Sunday 21 July!

It will be the perfect opportunity for you to stock up on all your favourite vegan goodies from local vendors, as well as the chance to meet up with like minded individuals over a pint of vegan beer (or something non-alcoholic)!

JVS will be hosting the launch of our newly renovated space, the world’s first Jewish, vegan centre. The event is free, family friendly, and will run from 11am – 4pm. Stay tuned for the full programme including details about entertainment, activities, food and special guests.
For one day only our garden will be transformed in to a forest school – learn how to make a bee hotel, attract and help wildlife, grow your own food, compost and lots more.

Protecting and furthering the rights of vegans

On 26th April, we launched our brand-new volunteer webpages, to represent our new volunteer program.

Personal experiences are vital in this campaign as they highlight the issues vegans face and also promote good practice where it can be found.

We may contact you for further information and use your experiences (anonymised) in the 'Experiences / Successes' section of our website.

We urge politicians to include veganism at the centre of food and farming policies after they declared a national climate emergency.

A new Finnish study finds that people process information about food in different ways, suggesting that campaigns to encourage the adoption of a more plant-based diet should take this into account.
