100+ fantastic stalls offering a wide variety of vegan produce, including cakes and chocolate, hot takeaway food, make up, clothing, pet treats and cheese as well as all day informative talks, live music, yoga sessions, children's activities and exciting cookery demos. Admission is just £5 (under 16's free) payable at the door. 100% of any proceeds will go directly to animal welfare charities as the festival is fully volunteer run.

A recent research paper explores the personality traits and key values held by people who justify their meat-eating as natural, necessary, normal, or nice.

An experimental model suggests that once about 25% of a population are committed to a belief, that belief will rapidly become a majority opinion or behavior.

With the official declaration of a climate emergency, the UK government has committed to significantly reduce its greenhouse gas emissions, in order to ensure it achieves net zero emissions by 2050. The environmental impact of dietary choices and animal agriculture however, is often markedly absent from this debate. We have therefore been campaigning for politicians to recognise the role of veganism in tackling the climate crisis, by adopting policies that encourage plant-based diets and support our existing campaigns.

A vibrant bi-monthly social market for all things vegan. We have a selection of great street foods, deli items, drinks, sweets, chocolate and cakes. Skincare and cosmetics, candles and jewellery, clothing and lifestyle products. Local and national charities and vegan outreach.

Hackney Yoga and Vegan Festival is a not-for-profit event aimed at raising awareness about Yoga and veganism - two ideas that are changing the world for better. Participate in all-day Yoga & meditation sessions, enjoy yummy vegan and raw vegan food, shop for vegan products and attend talks. Outdoor Yoga and live entertainment (if it doesn't rain). Buy earlybird day ticket to attend all classes for a fiver. Free entry to stalls.
