Awareness of World Vegan Day and World Vegan Month has soared, with the occasion being internationally recognised and celebrated in locations from Auckland to Amsterdam. Once regarded as a fringe movement, veganism is now winning British hearts and minds in ever greater numbers.

The Shropshire Veggies and Vegans will again be hosting a Cruelty Free Christmas Fair at The Wightman Theatre in Shrewsbury on Saturday December the 2nd from 11am-3pm.  

There will be free goody bags for the first 200 people through the door and over 30 stalls including gifts, food, books, cosmetics and jewellery.  

We will be raising money for various animal charities.

Join us for our second incredible Vegfest. Loads and loads of food stalls and other vegan products. All are welcome - even the meat eaters. Especially the meat eaters : )

The vegan society recently awarded us a grant towards our forthcoming vegan festival.

The Art of Veg is a vegan recipe blog. The recipes are plant based, vegan & vegetarian.

Jodie the founder of theartofveg.com is running cooking classes around the Surrey area.

Jodie will be hosting several plant based cooking classes in Guildford, Surrey (UK) over the next few months. We have courses ranging from vegan baking, street food, sushi making, pizza making and fermented foods.

This event will have 50+ stalls, local vegan businesses, delicious vegan food, free samples, face painting, the Norwich Vegans stall and more. This is an amazing opportunity to stock up on compassionate, cruelty free, holiday gifts, cards, crafts, and delicious treats.

Live A Better Life Vegan Fair-Liverpool is a massive vegan fair with 130 stalls, offering everything from delicious vegan food and drink to natural beauty and handmade gifts. There will also be cookery demonstrations, talks and workshops on the day.

One of the longest running vegan events in the UK returns to Bristol on May 26th and 27th 2018 at the new venue of Ashton Gate stadium (home of Bristol City football and rugby clubs).

Sunset Paradise Restaurant is holding a Caribbean food vegan buffet on 23rd November in Leeds.

The buffet is £12 and you can choose what food you desire from a varied three course strictly vegan menu.

There is a bar where drinks can be bought.

Music will be old school vintage.
