Ely Markets’ Vegan Fair returns to the city’s High Street. This popular event is now in its third year and brings together some of the region’s most vibrant and innovative vegan traders and producers. There will be a diverse range of vegan food available on the day. Soak up the atmosphere, try some delicious food and discover more about the health and wellbeing benefits of a vegan lifestyle. For a small city in Cambridgeshire, we’ve got a big vegan community!

Horsham’s first Vegan Fair is coming to town – for vegans, non-vegans and anyone just a bit interested! There will be food stalls, drinks (vegan beer!), clothing, beauty, household goods – all cruelty free, plus talks throughout the day. Any profits will be split between The Born Free Foundation and Animals Asia (registered charities).

We urge English, Scottish and Welsh governments to improve catering for vegans as part of our Catering for Everyone campaign. 

Who do vegans turn to when in crisis? As the use of foodbanks continues to rise, we look at one organisation working to support people in their time of need.

Ingredients 

  • 1.2g agar fine powder Panna cotta
  • 10ml amaretto (or use additional vanilla extract)
  • 150ml single vegan cream
  • 35g sugar
  • 1tsp pure vanilla extract 

Method

  1. Dissolve the agar powder into the amaretto and mix well.
